Tasks

-Observe installation and terminations of High voltage, power, communication, instrument and control cables -Be shown correct earthing, bonding of electrical systems across all installations. -Assist in installing switchgear, junction boxes, MCCs, transformers, VSDs, lighting, and communications equipment. -Learn how to carry out quality checks and basic testing (continuity, insulation resistance) during installation.

What You Bring

-Cert 2 Electrotechnology (desirable) -Can show initiative to resolve problems -Willingness to gain knowledge and understanding of the electrical industrial industry -General Construction White Card -Good attention to detail and be punctual and presentable at all times -Be willing to work FIFO or DIDO -Manual P1-Class Driver’s License or above -Great communication and mathematical skills -Learn how to install cable support systems including cable tray, conduit, catenary, throughout. -Communicate and work effectively in a team environment
