Tasks
Vibranalysis Inc. is seeking a Special Inspections Estimator/ Business Development Representative responsible for developing accurate, competitive proposals and pricing for special inspections services in collaboration with the Sales Team. This role requires interpreting client requirements, maintaining deep knowledge of special inspections codes and methodologies, and ensuring all activities align with company standards and regulatory compliance. -Foster a culture of respect, openness, and accountability -Navigate uneven terrain, climb ladders while carrying 40 lbs -Statement of Special Inspections (SSI) preparation and tracking -Engage directly with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to clarify scope, schedule, and jurisdictional requirements -Collaborate with Sales Team to price special inspections services (e.g., structural steel, welding, fireproofing, masonry, soils, post-installed anchors, seismic, etc.) -Occasional field visits to active construction sites -Develop detailed, line-item proposals including: -Assist in preparing responses to RFP/RFI documents with technical accuracy and clarity -Enhance customer satisfaction through proactive scope clarification and responsiveness -Work cross-functionally with Operations and Quality teams to validate feasibility and resource availability -Utilize historical data and current labor/material rates to ensure profitability and competitiveness -Attend weekly sales pipeline meetings and ensure all opportunities comply with company policies -Interpret architectural/structural drawings, specifications, and RFPs/RFIs to identify required inspections per IBC Chapter 17 and local amendments -Maintain expert knowledge of:

What You Bring
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) -ICC Special Inspector certifications (preferred: Structural Steel, Welding, Masonry, Fireproofing) -ASTM, AWS, AISC, ACI, and PTI standards -Primarily office-based with moderate noise levels -Technician qualifications and certifications (ICC, AWS CWI, ACI, etc.) -International Building Code (IBC) Chapter 17 -Working knowledge of ConnectWise or similar CRM/PSA platforms -Contingency and risk factors -Frequent office-based work -Proven ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and SSI schedules -Wear PPE and respond quickly to safety cues -Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs -Minimum 3 years of experience in special inspections estimating or field inspections management -Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills -BA/BS in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field (preferred) -Deliver clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams
