The Role

Overview

Electrical Project Engineer delivering water infrastructure projects across Yorkshire.

Tasks

-Be involved in the procurement of materials and preparation of subcontract orders. -Outline engineering needs from inception to completion of projects, utilising in-house resources, external consultants, site installation and managing construction personnel. -Produce and review health and safety documentation, taking a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of health and safety performance. -Participate in early sire investigation works in coordination with the client, design, and project team. -Work with the team to develop and close out all contract documentation such as, “As built” drawings, Commissioning Manuals and Operation and Maintenance Manuals. -Liaise with the site manager and site teams to ensure work is completed to programme, budget and quality. -Work closely with the design team to gather required information, and participate in regular internal and external design reviews and Hazard Studies to develop solutions.

What You Bring

-Have an industry applicable electrical ONC/HNC/ B Eng or NVQ equivalent. -Excellent communication skills, with proven influencing and negotiation skills to both internal and external stakeholders. -Proven experience working within the water industry. -Have experience with ICA.
