Leads technical standards, systems integration, and engineering strategy across CADREX.

Tasks
-Create and maintain a multi-year technical roadmap for automation, digitalization, and systems integration. -Develop standardized system architectures, interface definitions, and communication protocols. -Evaluate emerging technologies in controls, sensors, motion systems, and connected manufacturing for strategic adoption. -Own the integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems across all CADREX automation and product solutions. -Foster collaboration across mechanical, controls, and software engineering groups. -Define version control, change management, and configuration management practices for all engineering systems. -Partner with Engineering Managers to elevate technical talent and ensure consistent training in standards and tools. -Partner with Automation, Manufacturing, and Process Engineers to improve end-to-end system performance and maintainability. -Implement structured design review, validation, and verification processes. -Create standardized templates, CAD libraries, and control architectures to ensure design consistency. -Champion data-driven engineering and knowledge capture to accelerate learning across the organization. -Develop, document, and maintain company-wide engineering standards, including mechanical design, controls programming, and documentation requirements. -Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams in systems thinking and integration best practices. -Collaborate with Operational Excellence and NPI Engineering to integrate innovation with standardization. -Promote a culture of quality, innovation, and accountability in design execution. -Establish and lead a Systems Engineering Council to align methodologies across Automation, Process, and Manufacturing Engineering teams. -Ensure designs meet cross-functional requirements — reliability, safety, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.

What You Bring
-Experience in custom equipment, sheet metal, or automated manufacturing environments is highly preferred. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. -Proven success in developing and enforcing technical standards or leading systems integration initiatives. -8–12 years of experience in multi-disciplinary engineering (mechanical, controls, automation, and systems design).
