Tasks

-Perform electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion. -Compile information for client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration. -Research and compile project related data as required by the project managers. -Efficiently utilize a number of design software tools to perform engineering calculations and physical plant designs. -Act as a field engineer on construction sites. -Modify and review production drawings. -Apply strong knowledge of commonly used electrical engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the electrical engineering services industry. -Design electrical components for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers. -Perform field inspections, measurements, or calculations in support of project execution.

What You Bring

-Strong computer skills include Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, 2D and 3D rendering programs, and other analysis programs. -OR a bachelor's degree in electrical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and 3 years of electrical engineering experience, consulting preferred. -Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures. -OR a master's degree in electrical engineering and 2 years of electrical engineering experience, consulting preferred. -Proficient in standard engineering techniques and procedures. -Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills. -Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program, and 3 years of electrical engineering experience. -Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred, Professional Engineer (PE) license encouraged. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including team building, collaboration, and organization.
