Produce design documentation including layouts, functional specs, schedules, and network architecture.

Determine client security requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
Support documentation for security accreditation within the business.
Manage design changes through the Change Control Process and prevent scope creep.
Assist project and tendering teams with technical documentation for bids and orders.
Collaborate with Head of Design and delivery teams to value-engineer designs while meeting client specifications and safety standards.
Review and approve design deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance with programme.
Review subcontractor pricing and specifications for accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
Manage Tender TQs and maintain the Tender TQ register.
Liaise with subcontractor design teams to refine scope and ensure quality.
Provide technical input for subcontract orders and installer specifications.
Promote innovation and cost-effectiveness in all design activities.

Experience of system integration into both local and remote ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre) and RVRC (Remote Video Response Centre) central security management systems
Experience of producing URS and FDS documents (where applicable) to client briefs and specifications.
Possess an industry applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent.
Experience and knowledge of integrated security systems including, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, Analogue CCTV, IP CCTV, Audio Challenge, and Intercom systems.
Sound knowledge of security equipment and devices.
Experience with AMTECH.
Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft packages (experience with AutoCAD software would be an advantage).
