Overview

Implement & manage safety program on construction sites, ensuring zero injuries.

Tasks

-Implement and administer safety program at each worksite, assist in developing site-specific safety activities, conduct safety orientation/training -Provide safety-related information, evaluate industrial hygiene concerns, maintain knowledge of safety standards/regulations, serve as safety resource, attend/chair safety meetings -Review safety submittals, monitor trade partner work plans, assist with onsite injury management, organize safety celebrations, participate in project planning/hazard analysis -Document and track safety violations, conduct safety audits, analyze safety data, assist with major incident analysis, manage OSHA reporting -Build effective relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels -Collaborate with client safety personnel, union representatives, insurance risk engineers, accompany safety/health/OSHA personnel on tours, ensure maintenance of safety equipment, manage PPE and safety budget

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in occupational safety, health, or related field preferred -Current driver’s license -OR High school diploma with CHST or STS certification, OSHA 30 Hour training, and minimum five years of construction experience -Positive, professional attitude and strong customer service skills -Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. -Effective communication and active listening skills, openness to diverse input and feedback, ability to travel up to 100% -Detail-oriented, able to organize and manage multiple project tasks -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety-related software programs -MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: One year of related experience -Effective public speaking and presentation skills -Ability to interpret and communicate company policies -Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.). We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. -Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. -Strong teamwork, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills -Previous related internship experience a plus
