The Role
Overview
Prepare monthly accounts, budgets, forecasts, cost analyses and KPI reports for management.

Tasks
Analyse costs, revenues, margins and profitability of products and services Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and regulatory requirements Prepare and submit VAT calculation on quarterly basis Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements and performance reports Performing cost accounting functions such as reconciling inventory, recording journal entries for inventory, analysing standard costs, manufacturing variances and analysing excess and obsolete inventory The Management Accountant will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial and management information to support decision making within the organization. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and KPI performance reporting to help management control business operations effectively. Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between budget and actual performance Support internal and external audits as required Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts Collaborate with other departments and drive improvements

What You Bring
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required (Vlookup, PivotTables) Experience in working with an ERP system (preferably JD Edwards) Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Demonstrates a solid understanding of GAAP reporting. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Experience of progressive accounting & finance responsibilities (manufacturing environment preferred) Ability to problem solve in an ERP system driven environment. Must be able to work efficiently and effectively, know-how to prioritize and meet deadlines. Qualified/Part qualified or working towards one of the following; CIMA, ACCA or ACA Must have the ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail. Experience in performing, reviewing, and analysing accounting and financial reporting requirements.
