Tasks

-Develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions. -Troubleshoot and resolve software defects. -Utilize modern development workflows using tools like Jira and Bitbucket. -Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to align development with business goals. -Implement best practices in architecture, design patterns, code quality, and DevOps processes. -Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile ceremonies to ensure delivery velocity and clarity.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. -Expertise in C++ programming and SQL. -All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. -Bachelors degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent work experience. In addition to the education requirements, eight years related experience -7+ years of professional software development experience. -Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or associated experience. -Experience with Bitbucket (or Git-based tools) for version control and CI/CD integration. -Familiarity with cloud services in Azure. -Training related to business area supported (i.e. Accounting, Engineering, etc.). -Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. -Knowledge of energy or utility domains. -Proficiency in full-stack development technologies (e.g., Angular, Node.js, Java, CSS, etc.). -Experience working in a matrixed or enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders.
