Manage and supervise electrical substation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and completion.

Tasks
-Review project schedule weekly and note any delays, changes or deficiencies to Project Management team -Stay up-to-date on current safety protocols and updates -Conduct regular inspections to ensure all the required supplies, materials and equipment are available and working as intended -Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal codes -Install, repair and maintain electrical systems, conductors, power lines and electrical equipment -Work with the entire team to look for solutions to problems, and mentor crew Foreman to do the same -Oversee the planning and execution of medium/large electrical substation projects, and supervise the overall progress -Manage contract documents and specifications for projects -Review job specifications, building and safety codes, and project timelines -Assist with the electrical work when needed -Obtain all of the necessary licenses, permits, and materials for the job -Report all accidents, injuries, near misses to the Safety Department -Plan, coordinate, and supervise the work of skilled journey-level workers -Conduct data collection and complete all paperwork in a timely manner -Work a minimum of 40 hours a week on a regular basis. -Establish high-quality work practices, and monitor working conditions -Liaise with customers, suppliers and third parties as necessary -Ensure job quality, and identify potential safety risks -Produce and prepare sketches, operational diagrams, and layout drawings for projects -Generate progress reports, and relay information to the Superintendent

What You Bring
-AED Preferred (given upon hire) -1-5 Years Supervisory/Foreman Experience -5+ Years Supervisory/Foreman Experience -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -First Aid -Successful prior experience supervising crews and completing electrical substation projects -Trade School Certification -Substation construction related to Solar, Wind or Data Centers -Previous Experience as an Electrician, Apprentice Electrician or Journeyman Electrician -Proficiency in the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, test equipment, and precision measuring -Ability to read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, blueprints, schematics, and written instructions for projects -Electrical Journeyman License -Associates Degree OR -Minimum 10 Years’ Experience in Electrical Substation Construction -Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate others -Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task -Knowledge of safety measures and best practices for a safe work environment -Great operational planning and time management skills -Valid Driver’s License -General computer skills (email, Microsoft Office) -High School Diploma or Equivalent -Knowledge and understanding of electrical plans and proper electrical wiring procedures
