Overview

Manage grant lifecycle, compliance, and stakeholder relationships for environmental projects

Tasks

-Build positive relationships with applicants, providing guidance and support throughout the application and live grants processes -Help develop communications materials and guidance to support potential applicants -Deliver excellent customer service through professional handling of enquiries -Manage grant claims, including checking evidence of expenditure and project budgets -Process and evaluate funding applications, ensuring fair and thorough assessment against our criteria -Support Trustee meetings and contribute to strategic discussions about our funding priorities -Manage the full grants lifecycle of projects from application to completion, including compliance monitoring and occasional site visits -Assist with Board meeting arrangements, minute taking and other administrative duties

What You Bring

-Experience of assessing financial information (e.g. invoices, quotes, tenders etc) -Digital skills, including familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT -A positive, proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of our close-knit team -Experience in grant making or the charitable sector -Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to quickly understand complex information -Current driving licence -Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
