Senior Engineer - Wastewater Networks

Description

• Technical Documentation: Prepare and manage the production of comprehensive documentation, including feasibility studies, planning reports, site assessments, detailed designs, and contract documents.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and technical consistency across all stages of delivery.
• Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead and deliver complex wastewater network projects, including the design of drainage system upgrades, new pipelines, and new/upgraded pumping stations for water utilities, local authorities, and private sector clients.
• Mentoring & Development: Provide technical guidance and actively mentor junior team members, supporting their professional growth and career development within the firm.

Requirements

• A proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor more junior staff.
• Excellent professional knowledge, combined with strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• A relevant third-level degree in Engineering.
• Strong design focused engineering experience in the water sector, ideally with waterwater projects.
• Flexibility in office location (Dublin, Galway, Cork, or Castlebar).
• A track record of successfully meeting deliverable deadlines and maintaining client satisfaction, even when working under pressure.
