Overview

Handles order processing, shipping/receiving, inventory, and forklift operations.

Tasks

-Keep work area clean, safe, organized, and maintained by following the 6 S's (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety). -Order picking, packing, wrapping, labeling products, and shrink-wrapping orders that are palletized according to standard operating procedure, making a note to follow any special instructions on orders with customer-specific requests. -Assist in the counting of physical inventory. -Check outgoing and incoming shipments for accuracy. -Monitor the movement and progress of orders to ensure timely delivery. -Retrieve stock to fulfill orders. -Place compiled/completed orders in the appropriate designated areas. -Load finished product/orders onto trucks. Transport stock from storage to the warehouse or where needed. Load or unload material inbound or outbound. -Open bales, crates, and other containers. -Wear the proper safety equipment and abide by safety rules at all times. -Check orders for accuracy. -Inspect goods for defects and report damaged or defective material/product to the supervisor or sales staff; no damaged product is to be sent out. -Operate a forklift, two-wheel hand cart, and scales.

What You Bring

-Organization Skills -Mathematical Skills -Knowledgeable in TFI/OSHA Safety requirements -Two to three years' previous warehouse experience. -Forklift Certified. -Ability to follow instructions from management. -High school diploma or equivalent. -One to two years' previous warehouse experience. -Communication Proficiency, both verbal and written.
