The Role
Overview
Supervise civil construction crews and subcontractors for telecom tower projects.

Tasks
-Finalize all inspections to close project. -Complete work in a timely and efficient manner by planning, prioritizing and mobilizing staff, materials and subcontractors to meet progression schedule. -Identify all materials and other resources needed to complete project. -Ensure Construction Supervisor is apprised of construction progress, concerns and deviations from plans or established schedule. -Coordinate delivery and off-loading of towers, materials, generators and shelters. -Assign tasks to fellow crew members and perform civil or tower construction activities such as site clearing and leveling, digging trenches, grounding, forming, shoring, pouring and finishing concrete, spreading rock, (preceding items are Tower Foreman related tasks) etc. -Identify construction "punch list" of items to be remedied and ensure they are completed prior to customer’s inspection. -May maintain and enforce all SBA and OSHA safety practices, perform daily jobsite safety inspections on equipment prior to operation. Immediately stops work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist. -Coordinate resources to meet construction schedules. -Inspect and approve all sub-contractor's work. -Schedule and coordinate with all local authorities for required inspections. -Ensure tasks assigned to crew are completed in timely, quality manner. -Train and assist employees in completing tasks. Professionally interact with client’s representatives.

What You Bring
-You have a strong work ethic. -and 2+ years construction background (preferably telecommunications) with the ability to read blueprints, details and specifications. -Work near mechanical parts. -Standing 90% of the day. -Ability to walk, stand, bend and climb. -Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. -Health Services\Drivers License - MDOT Medical Physical Req -Ability to work on job site in remote location for extended periods of time. -Must be able to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays and evening hours. -Domestic Travel 90% of the time and have the ability to operate and drive company vehicles and equipment necessary for the job, such as trucks and heavy machinery. -Ability to respond verbally in an understandable, professional manner in person and over the telephone. -Valid Government Issued Driver's License -Very loud noise levels equivalent to earth moving equipment and jack hammers. -H.S. Diploma/GED -Ability to operate a motor vehicle. -Ability to hear, understand and respond appropriately to verbal requests made in person and over the telephone. -Ability to stoop and bend. -and 1+ years of leadership experience. -Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook. -Visual ability correctable to 20/20. -You are resourceful and thrive in a fast-paced environment. -Ability to reach and stretch.
