Tasks

-NHI 130053 - Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges Refresher -Perform DOT routine bridge inspections and lead inspection teams. -Develop production work plans, schedules, and budgets. -Conduct independent quality control. -Perform quantity take-offs. -Perform calculations as needed. -Assist progress reports. -Assist with project monitoring and scheduling. -Perform engineering calculations and analysis for the load rating of bridges. -Guide and mentor junior staff.

What You Bring

-Familiarize him/herself/themself with engineering plans and details. -At least 7 years' bridge inspection experience. -NHI certifications required: -Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence. -TxDOT pre-certified in 6.1.1 Routine Bridge Inspection Team Leader and 6.2.1 Complex Bridge Inspection Team Leader. -Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges. -Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering. -Engineer-In-Training Certification required. Eligibility and ability to pass PE test within 2 years required. -NHI 130055 - Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges Training -Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and engineering software. -Requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as interpersonal skills
