Tasks

Help keep Australia’s clean energy future online. Support, maintain and commission cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage systems. -Supervise subcontractors when required and ensure all work is performed safely. -Work with cutting-edge BESS technology shaping the future of Australia’s energy grid. -Perform LOTO and switching procedures safely and correctly. -Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on-site to maintain system performance and availability. -Support long-term service obligations across a range of BESS equipment including: -Carry out commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure warranty and LTSA compliance on new BESS projects -Assist in developing standard operating procedures and best practices. -Support client training during commissioning phases. -Keep accurate work orders, service reports and spare parts inventory.

What You Bring

We’re now seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our Long Term Service team working at our Summerfield site in South Australia. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who loves being on the tools, solving technical problems, and working directly on Australia’s most exciting large-scale energy storage projects. -Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to regional sites. -Proficiency with MS Office and ideally a CMMS platform. -Qualified Electrical Technician with at least 5 years’ experience in a service or maintenance environment (renewables preferred). -Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team. -Familiarity with SCADA systems is a bonus. -Experience with BESS equipment, inverters, or power systems in a field service context will be highly regarded -SCADA and network devices -First Aid LVR & CPR trained (or willing to obtain) -Strong understanding of electrical codes, MV systems, and safe operating procedures. -A professional, reliable, safety-first approach with strong communication skills.
