Tasks

-Collaborate with the sales team to align estimating efforts with production capabilities and optimise customer conversion. -Interpret complex customer enquiries to determine product requirements and produce accurate estimates and technical drawings as required. -Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of departmental processes and systems to enhance efficiency and service quality. -Manage project documentation, ensuring all drawings, correspondence, and records are accurately maintained and accessible. -Mentor and support junior estimators, sharing knowledge and expertise to develop team capability. -Ensure timely and accurate delivery of quotations, consistently meeting or exceeding company expectations. -Respond to customer queries regarding quotations with professionalism and technical accuracy.

What You Bring

-Ability to work independently while also contributing to team goals and collaboration. -Advanced proficiency in MS Office and CAD software (including AutoCAD). -Proactive and professional approach to problem-solving and decision-making. -Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify cost-effective solutions tailored to customer requirements. -Excellent organisational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail. -Proven experience in an Estimating role, preferably within a technical, construction, or manufacturing environment. -Confident communicator with well-developed presentation, listening, and questioning skills. -Digicare+ Provided by Aviva
