  • Safety and Security- A clear understanding of TRC and the clients safety and security procedures and expectations; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Reviews project plans and schedules for constructability.
  • Evaluates Contractor’s procedures, starting and completion times, and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
  • Directly involved with the bidding and subcontracting process.
  • Directly involved with the development and assembly of construction specifications and subcontracts.
  • Directs project personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction.
  • Coordinates the procurement of tools, equipment, and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
  • Conducts construction activities within federal, state, local environmental rules and regulations.
  • Maintain all onsite documentation in an orderly and professional manner.
  • Responsible for creating and managing client and subcontract change order requests and generating construction related change orders.
  • Quality- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.
  • Reviews contract documents.
  • Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications, quality, and the adherence to construction schedules.
  • Takes a lead role in resolving construction problems, procedures, and methods through work with engineering personnel, inspectors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Effectively communicate with the project team, client and contractors.

  • Education and/or Experience- A Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
