Overview

Mobile plumber performing maintenance and repairs across prisons in Yorkshire, Humberside & North East England.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-This role may include working at height and in all weather conditions. -Mains water supply repairs, to minimise wastage and continually improve processes. -Check, repair and make good faults and life expired equipment. -Ensure statutory works are carried out to time and that work is compliant. -Responsibility for wearing all PPE, for own health and safety and that of others and the public. -Responsible for achieving own performance targets. -Fault finding, identification of life expired equipment. -Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment. -Responsible for the management and authorisation of high/low-risk maintenance activity on the FM estate using the Amey Safety Rules as the Authorised/Responsible persons (AP/RP). Training will be provided.

What You Bring

-Full driving licence is Essential. -Membership of our Affinity Networks who connect, support and inspire diverse communities within Amey. -Ability to work alone and use initiative. -Legionella Control (L8). -Experience in operating light plant. -NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating is required (we may consider level 2). -Good all-round project management knowledge. -Experience in a commercial environment.
