Overview

Operative providing construction support, crane/forklift operation, firewatch, and site duties.

Tasks

-Provide general cleaning as per work requirements -Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the scope is completed in accordance with company procedures, and to the highest standard of safety -Attend and participate positively in toolbox talks -Attend meetings as and when -Undertake basic slinging activities -Assist with holiday cover on Silo off loading -Set up equipment for trade use -Communicate daily with site management and keep them fully informed of all issues -Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner -Monitor and record HAVS on departments tools -Maintain the departments air fed hoods to correct standards -Undertake general driving duties around site -Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete work scope in a safe and controlled manner -Carry out Firewatch / Standby duties -Provide support to other trades/disciplines where , or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team -Provide timely feedback to supervisor of ongoing status or completion of the task -Operate the site Automate -Operate overhead crane, as , in a safe manner -Attend and participate positively in training sessions and safety sessions -Deliver a high quality, consistent and competent Operative construction service in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures.

What You Bring

-Demonstrable experience in maintaining air feed hoods -CCNSG Safety Passport -Compliance with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies -Educated to National 5 level or equivalent -Silo safety training -Valid Driving License -Adherence to the company integrated management system -HAVS training -Drive forklift truck / MEWP, as , in a safe manner -Valid FLT License -Reasonable written and spoken English
