The Role

Overview

Conduct water monitoring and Legionella risk assessments for various properties.

Tasks

-Carry out regular water monitoring at a range of properties in our contract portfolio, including temperature monitoring, tank inspections, sampling, checking of remedial works and completion of inspection forms and visit reports -Return reports within required time frames -Work safely and help implement the BMS Health & Safety policy -Plan and organise own workload effectively -Compile lists of suitable remedial works, provide solution options and assign appropriate priorities -Undertake occasional ventilation system surveys and air quality monitoring (subject to further training) -Travel to and from sites safely with occasional overnight stays -Maintain high standards and ensure quality of service is always maintained -Conduct in-depth site surveys at new properties and produce Legionella risk assessment reports with hand drawn schematic drawings of water systems -Communicate any site issues/cancellations to the Field Service Manager

What You Bring

-Full UK driving licence -Excellent technical writing skills -Ability to work cooperatively and communicate clearly -Ability to communicate at all levels -Ability to plan and arrange own workload -Excellent attention to detail -Experience of carrying out Indoor Air Quality risk assessments and monitoring -Experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments including production of written reports and schematic drawings -Good IT skills - knowledge of MS Office products -Detailed knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 -Working knowledge of domestic water systems within a variety of building types -Water treatment knowledge and experience of closed water systems
