Tasks

-Preparing construction plans and specifications -Preparing cost-estimates and technical reports -Coordinating permitting efforts with various stormwater agencies -Stormwater design for projects including both bid-build and design-build projects -Performing hydrologic & hydraulic studies using software such as GEOPAK Drainage, HY-8, and HEC-RAS -Assisting in all aspects of roadway drainage design including bridge hydraulic studies, culvert design, closed drainage system analysis, and sediment and erosion control design -Training/mentoring junior engineers and technicians

What You Bring

-Experience with OpenRoads Designer -It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment. An employer who violates this law shall be subject to criminal penalties and civil liability. -Experience with ArcGIS -Experience with HEC-RAS, SMS, SRH-2D, and SWMM -0-2+ years of experience in stormwater design/analysis -EIT license or ability to obtain within 6 months -Strong problem-solving skills -SCDOT experience -Experience with MicroStation and GEOPAK Drainage -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
