Tasks
Reporting into the Project Director or as advised by the management, the role will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budget control, and contractual negotiations related to high-rise residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. -Conduct regular cost reviews and provide reports to project stakeholders. -Communicate changes to relevant stakeholders and update project budgets accordingly. -Perform quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings to estimate material requirements. -Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring compliance with financial constraints. -Develop strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure project success. -Assist in the negotiation and drafting of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. -Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality. -Ensure contract terms and conditions are favorable and align with project objectives. -Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with project specifications and client requirements. -Conduct risk assessments related to cost and contractual obligations. -Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, and other relevant factors. -Manage and evaluate variation orders, ensuring accurate documentation and cost adjustments. -Analyze project costs and provide insights to improve cost efficiency. -Work closely with design teams to ensure accurate project specifications.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. -Must have previous experience on high-rise residential building projects -Strong communication skills -Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as site-based Quantity Surveyor working a reputable main contractor or developer in UAE -Professional accreditation or certification in Quantity Surveying is a plus.
