Tasks
-Maintain consistent attendance and performance, including flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed. -Manage business development tracking systems to monitor opportunities, assess progress, and support project execution through completion. -Develop, maintain, and enhance analytical tools and models to support strategic planning and business development initiatives. -Conduct in-depth industry research and market analysis to identify trends, assess competitive landscapes, and uncover new business opportunities. -Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and memoranda for internal leadership, Board of Directors, joint venture partners, and external stakeholders. -Uphold a strong commitment to safety for self, colleagues, company assets, and the public. -Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, projects, legal, and other teams to ensure alignment of commercial strategies with organizational goals. -Synthesize complex data and insights to guide the Commercial team in deal structuring, risk analysis, negotiation, and execution.

What You Bring
-Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities. -High level of discretion and confidentiality. -Adaptability to shifting priorities and demands. -Financial or commercial experience in midstream and/or power industries. -Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. -Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels and external partners. -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within teams. -Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism, tact, and clarity in both verbal and written forms. -Exceptional organizational and time management skills. -Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. -Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the energy sector, with emphasis on electricity and natural gas markets. -Proven expertise in due diligence, market research, and competitive analysis supporting strategic decision-making. -Strong knowledge of midstream, upstream, power, or decarbonized energy industries. -Ability to perform multiple tasks under strict deadlines. -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline. -Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
