Part‑time Facilities Assistant cleaning and supporting events in a retirement village.

Tasks

-Reporting any wellbeing or safeguarding concerns to the Retirement Housing Officer team. -Liaising with colleagues and residents, striving to deliver the right first-time service for our residents within the retirement village. -Undertaking communal cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. -Assisting as requested with the set-up, delivery and clear up for events, activities and social functions. -Reporting repairs to colleagues in a timely manner to ensure the safety of colleagues and residents.

What You Bring

-Confidence using digital devices, ICT software and systems. -Knowledge of health and safety associated with cleaning; COSHH and use of appropriate PPE. -Keen to deliver high standards with an ability to look to improve services. -Full UK driving license -Experience within a cleaning role would be desirable. -An Enhanced DBS check is also required for this role. -Customer focused approach and with the ability to show empathy.
