This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll work at the intersection of AI, robotics, and embedded systems solving complex technical challenges with immediate real-world applications in national security. Supporting a cutting-edge defense technology company that’s developing an autonomous system designed to detect, track, and neutralize small drone threats. The team is seeking a HIGH LEVEL Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer to lead algorithm development for real-time perception and targeting systems. -Mentor junior engineers and guide computer vision best practices. -Help transition prototypes into ruggedized, deployable defense-grade systems. -Conduct field testing and validation to ensure performance and robustness. -Lead development and optimization of real-time computer vision and ML models for drone detection, tracking, and classification. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision and control systems into hardware. -Design models that perform reliably in resource-constrained environments.

What You Bring
-9+ years in machine-learning-based computer vision, ideally within robotics or autonomous systems. -Expertise in Python, C++, and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. -M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. -U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required due to the nature of the work. -Familiarity with camera, LIDAR, and RADAR sensor fusion. -Experience integrating ML/CV algorithms into embedded hardware.
