The Role

Overview

Handle, organize, and track warehouse inventory and shipments.

Tasks

-Take pictures of finished work orders and submit to accounting for billing purposes. -Collaborate with engineers to address any questions, discrepancies, or product issues related to the WOs. -Ensure accurate identification and selection of hardware items required for each WO. -Place staged hardware in designated areas for efficient access and retrieval. -Make customer calls as needed -Track products order based on Scoreboard, PO’s, PM or other personnel request. -Assist in training new team members and provide support as needed. -Tag all product with correct pm color and/or product sticker, and store in proper area. -Verify and confirm with engineers that the proper items are pulled, maintaining high-quality standards. -Inspect materials for quality, damage, or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel. Follow quality control procedures to maintain the integrity of products during handling and storage. -Assemble and package shop orders by picking, packing, and labeling materials in accordance with customer requirements and company standards. Prepare shipments for delivery or pick-up, ensuring completeness and accuracy. -Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and safe storage practices. Maintaining a clean and organized work area ensures a safe and efficient work environment. -Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering additional products as needed to fulfill Work Order requirements. -Receive, inspect, and unload incoming materials following established procedures and safety guidelines. -Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction; topics include back orders, discrepancies, incorrect products, and material shortages. -Accurately record and update inventory levels in the warehouse management system, ensuring stock rotation and proper storage of materials. Perform regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory counts. -Pull and stage hardware for Work Orders (WOs) based on the Scoreboard for various departments including caseline, custom, laminate, and shipping. -Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to material handling activities, including receiving reports and inventory records. -Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and transport materials within the warehouse. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or damage. -Receive product in the system.

What You Bring

-Prior experience in a warehouse or materials handling role is preferred. -Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation purposes. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to material handling. -Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. -Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly. -Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. -Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
