Tasks

Receive and record vouchers, cash, and checks. The Accounting Specialist will maintain financial records, run reports for management, and record a wide range of financial transactions. They will offer administrative and bookkeeping assistance to accountants, prepare financial statements, and confirm the accuracy of accounting information. Accounting Clerk entails prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Produce a variety of reports including income statements and balance sheets. Use bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets, and software daily. Reconcile and report any discrepancies found in the records. Check for accuracy in reports, figures, and postings. Enter debits and credits into software applications and databases accurately.
