The Role

Overview

Supervises carpentry crews, plans work, ensures quality & safety across multiple sites.

Tasks

-Discuss blueprints and plans with other contractors and Clients. -Identify, address, and resolve issues and problems as or before they occur. -Examine and inspect work progress and equipment. -Analyze and plan installation and construction of equipment and structures. -Direct the use of machines and materials being used. -Ensure the project is constructed to code and according to plans and specifications. -Create scopes of work clearly defining owner’s project request. -Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with Clients, field personnel, and sub-trades. -Supervise crews on construction sites. -Assist with resolution of union grievances, if applicable. -Support activities at all Company job-sites as directed -Order supplies and equipment. -Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipment, -Plan and schedule work and keep records of the materials used and the progress made on a job. -Provide drawing interpretation. -Assure work quality - set standards for quality control. -Report on personnel, costs, and safety. -Enter daily time in WorkMax (Company timekeeping system) for crew. -Business development for Facility Solutions and other Company Services. -Adhere to all OSHA and Company safety practices and procedures -Coordinate the work timely and efficiently in a safe environment.

What You Bring

-Expertise in performing journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry duties. -Able to educate Client to the construction process. -Able to use iPad/smartphone with service software (training available). -Considerable knowledge of: rough and finish carpentry; tools, equipment materials and safety practices of carpentry work; building techniques of new and remodel construction; masonry, concrete, steel, pre-cast and wood construction -Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions -Creative problem solver, time manager, critical thinker. -Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Facility Solutions Foreman or similar role -Ability to travel as required. -Able to work evening shifts as required. -Display hand-to-eye coordination, mathematical skills, strength, stamina, and be detailed orientated -Must hold a current Journeyman Carpenter license/certificate (if required by the applicable state, city or county) -Display basic computer skills -Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt
