Tasks
-Performs domestic and international shipment responsibilities in support of project requirements to ensure the safe, timely, and economical delivery of goods to meet project requirements -Ensures entry of shipment tracking data into Transport Management System (TMS) and other functional systems to provide shipment status visibility -Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results -Negotiates Logistics Service Provider agreements to maximize Bechtel’s commercial & technical interests -Represents logistics at supplier/contractor kickoff meetings to review supplier delivery and Bechtel Logistics requirements contained in purchase and contract documents -Project Logistics Manager for large sized Project, manages a moderate sized team -Interacts with project management to review logistics strategies in consideration of cost, risk, and schedule assessments -Provides cost, transportability, service, and terms and conditions analysis as requested to assist with project proposals, materials purchases, and the selection of Logistics Service Providers -Develops and reviews logistics execution plans and procedures -Ensures Logistics Service Provider Services are acquired in accordance with Bechtel Supply Chain Governance -Identifies transport cost and service alternatives to support materials/equipment purchase decisions -Prepares and presents Logistics Service Provider commercial bid tabs, commitment authorizations, and contract documents for approval by project and customer management -Ensures audit and processing of Logistics Service Provider invoices in accordance with project procedures -Performs project logistics performance reviews within the business unit to ensure project logistics team is executing according to plan & within budget -Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s) -Files and resolves Logistics Service Provider claims -Develops and reviews logistics staffing plans and budgets -Ensures the management and accurate completion of milestone and performance reports to satisfy project requirements -Ensures that project proposal work is supported with appropriate Logistics staff and approves all Logistics proposal deliverables -Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules/goals -Provides guidance to and works collaboratively with subordinates within the latitude of established company policies -Leads the preparation of logistics studies including site and Logistics Service Provider facility visits -Oversees Logistics Service Provider performance to ensure services are carried out as contracted for and to ensure that project requirements are satisfied -Develops logistics reports, metrics, and studies for management review -Monitors performance of Logistics Service Providers to ensure project support -Ensures implementation of applicable logistics process improvement initiatives -Develops logistics costs, job hour requirements and reports for project or functional budget management. -Regularly interacts and partners with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, or customers -Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirement -Ensures safety requirements and measures are integrated in all logistics activities, procedures, and goals -Develops, plans, conducts, or arranges training of project logistics personnel

What You Bring
-Knowledge of and experience in marine conveyance chartering -Commercial and contractual acumen -Knowledge and practical understanding of Incoterms (2020) -Proficient in speaking and writing English, Arabic is advantageous. -Knowledge of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (country) importing and exporting formalities and processes. -Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives -Typically requires a bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13 to 15 years of relevant experience or 17 to 19 years of relevant work experience. -Requires the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship -Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways -Knowledge of domestic and international trade and delivery terms, -Transport Assurance proficient knowledge- preferred. -Experience with medium to large scale projects highly regarded. -Home, Field and deployed project experience preferred. -Knowledge of and experience in multimodal transport modes – airfreight, sea freight; containerized, LCL, breakbulk, and domestic transportation – including oversize/over mass. -Knowledge of industry packing, making, and shipping requirements
