Tasks

To undertake routine PPM tasks in accordance to recognised standards To undertake tasks as instructed by on site FM Support weekly meeting room setups as required To undertake Electrical Installation work as required. Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests. Ensure all documentation is completed correctly for all tasks and reactive tasks are reported and recordedon to the CAFM system. To support Mitie team as required. To undertake reactive repairs as required. To co-operate with other MITIE disciplines for the provision of multi-discipline services where required Undertake regular inspections. To attend training to assist with contract requirements To undertake escort duties of Sub-contractors where required

What You Bring

Industry recognised Trade Qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC etc) IPAF 3A & 3B (essential) Keen eye for detail We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work at a Mitie client site, carrying out electrical safety checks, PAT testing, planned and call out maintenance and repairs. Strong work ethic Basic mechanical knowledge (Desirable but not essential) IT literate On occassion, be available to carry out necessary emergency works outside normal hours BS7671 18th edition qualification The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector, or similar, and be qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and18th edition. Previous experience in the manufacturing sector (Desirable but not essential) Ability to self manage multiple workloads You must be able to work to high levels of health and safety, understand and be able to work to building statutory requirements and ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme. You should have a full, current, driving licence, be IT literate for record keeping, have good customer service skills, be physically able to carry out the fuller duties detailed in the job description. Good verbal and written communication skills
