Tasks

-Support local leaders/spokespersons in handling communication opportunities -Media mapping and relationship building with key journalists in the energy sector -Organize events (e.g., solar plant interconnections, groundbreaking ceremonies), coordinating with event partners -Develop the brand and reputation awareness strategy and annual plan -Plan and create LinkedIn posts for Indian audiences aligned with the global strategy -Coordinate branding element requirements across India -Support internal event organization and develop campaigns to boost employee engagement in collaboration with HR -Create and distribute press releases -Identify and manage speaking opportunities (including sponsorship) -Adapt global corporate communication materials for local use -Define key messages and Q&A documents -Manage internal communication channels with India-specific content (creation of messages and design)

The ideal candidate will work in close collaboration with the Global Director of Communication and Sustainability to support the development and execution of both external and internal communications strategies in India. They should have 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within multinational companies or communication consultancy firms, with a strong understanding of the energy or renewable energy sector. Proven experience in media relations and social media management is essential, as these will constitute key responsibilities of the role. -12+ years of experience in corporate communications or a communication agency -Social media management experience -Able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment -Background in the renewable energy market -Proficiency in graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.) -Strong written and verbal communication skills in English -Pitch communication opportunities (interviews, reports, etc.) -Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively -Highly organized and detail-oriented -Degree in Communication or Journalism -Good communication skills in Hindi -Skilled at building long-term stakeholder relationships (especially with journalists)
