Business Development Manager

Description

This pivotal role will involve managing client relationships, delivering technical presentations, providing engineering advice, conducting site product training, and coordinating all aspects of the sales process across the WA market.

• Collaborates with Management to develop sales strategies to improve market share in target product lines.
• Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
• Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams for assigned territory.
• Collaborates with Products team members to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses.
• Implements all sales policies, practices and procedures.
• Improves company image by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
• Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in the assigned company’s products.
• Interprets short and long-term effects on sales strategies and operating profit.
• Manages an assigned sales area and product lines to maximise sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
• Collaboration with management in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
• Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales prices in consultation with Management.

Requirements

SRG Global is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to drive growth and lead technical specification activities within our Engineered Products Division in Western Australia.

• Competency in CRM and Microsoft Office applications
• We're seeking someone who thrives on business development—someone who can independently identify opportunities, build relationships, and drive long-term value for the business.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (preferred), or relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Marketing, or Business
• You should have a track record of supplying products to commercial building and/or civil infrastructure projects, ideally with an established network of clients in Western Australia.
• Proven experience in sales within the construction or building products sector
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong commercial background with experience in the construction or building industry
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering (strongly preferred)
• Proven ability to work autonomously and proactively in a technical sales environment
• Solid understanding of market trends and ability to interpret sales data
• Your engineering background will enable you to confidently engage in technical conversations with engineers and clients.
