Maintenance and Groundskeeper (Shorebreeze II)

Maintain property interiors and exteriors, handling light repairs, cleaning, and grounds care.

Tasks

-Assists with move-ins, move-outs, annual inspections, and preparing vacant units for re-occupancy -Complies with safety policies and performs other duties as assigned -Participates in emergency standby schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays) -Cleans common areas including laundry rooms, restrooms, offices, and hallways -Performs light maintenance: electrical, plumbing, painting, and minor repairs (e.g., glass, tile, locks) -Maintains outdoor areas: picks up ground debris daily, sweeps sidewalks and parking lots, trims shrubs, and removes weeds -Maintains inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies -Monitors and reports grounds conditions, completes routine groundskeeping logs, and ensures exterior areas are safe and presentable

What You Bring

-Able to stoop, kneel, carry, push and pull, ascend/descend stairs, climb on ladders, climb on roofs, and crawl in confined spaces on a regular basis -Ability to hear, speak and read -Ability to lift 75 pounds and scale ladders -Have reliable knowledge of all utility routing and cut-offs, including shop and storage rooms, and ensure equipment is secure. -High School diploma or GED is required -The ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds on a regular basis -Basic knowledge of OSHA regulation -One year of experience with maintenance, landscape and irrigation systems -This position is considered moderately to highly physical and requires a lot of standing, bending, lifting and walking
