Backed to win: Work closely with the application development team to convert pursuits. Impact at scale: Turn complex public-sector challenges into measurable citizen outcomes via custom digital solutionsOwn the number: Drive pipeline and deliver your annual target (TCV/Revenue: $X–$Y, OTE-aligned). -Procurement & Probity: Navigate NSW/Supplier Hub, eTendering, panels/schemes, and contract formation with strict probity. -Pipeline & Qualification: Originate opportunities, run discovery, and qualify rigorously (e.g., MEDDICC); maintain accurate CRM hygiene and forecast. -Business Development: Prospect and expand relationships across NSW Government clusters; develop account plans, stakeholder maps, and multi-threaded engagement for custom application development opportunities -Close & Handover: Negotiate to signature and ensure clean transition into delivery. -Solutioning & Value: Shape delivery approaches, estimates, commercials, and value cases with Delivery/Commercial/Legal. -Pursuit Leadership: Lead RFx responses (EOI/RFI/RFP), craft win themes and executive summaries, and run orals.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organised, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business for our custom application development team through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions. -Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Australian work rights; able to meet NSW Government probity/security requirements. -7–12+ years in presales/solution consulting for custom software/digital services, with deep NSW Government experience. -Proven business development track record: building pipeline and hitting annual targets in the NSW public sector. -7+ years' of sales or account management experience -Strength in modern app dev, integration, and data/AI; comfortable with pricing models (T&M, fixed, outcome-based). -Active network of senior stakeholders across multiple clusters; executive presence and excellent written/oral communication.
