Tasks

We’re seeking an Associate Director to partner with the Director in guiding teams, delivering landmark projects, and shaping the future of Florida’s built environment. If you’re ready to lead with influence, mentor top talent, and shape Orlando’s skyline, let’s talk. -Drive Business Development – Support proposals, networking, and market growth initiatives. -Champion Excellence – Ensure technical rigor, QA/QC, and innovative design solutions on every project. -Partner in Leadership – Collaborate closely with the Director to drive office strategy, team operations, and client success. -Develop the Team – Mentor engineers, review technical work, and foster professional growth across the office. -Direct influence on office strategy and project delivery -Engage Clients & Stakeholders – Build trusted relationships with architects, contractors, and developers to advance projects and firm visibility. -Lead Major Projects – Direct design and delivery for complex commercial, residential, and institutional buildings.

What You Bring

This role blends technical expertise with strategic leadership—impactful, rewarding, and designed for progression. -Proven success leading complex, multidisciplinary projects -Deep knowledge of Florida Building Code, IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI -Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills -PE license (Florida or ability to obtain) -Expertise in steel, concrete, wood, and masonry design -10–15 years of structural engineering experience (Florida experience preferred) -Proficiency with ETABS, RAM, RISA, and Revit
