Tasks
-Promotes and upholds Hoffman’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion across the entire talent lifecycle. -Ensures a strong service delivery to all recruiting stakeholders, with emphasis on follow up and effective communication throughout the recruiting life cycle. -Maintains Recruiting dashboards on sourcing, channel, and pipeline productivity; analyzes, recommends and implements changes and enhancements as appropriate. -Identifies appropriate and effective job marketing channels, including various social media platforms, and ensures jobs are posted and/or distributed in a timely manner. -Shares job market insights and interview best practices with hiring managers, leadership and HR team members to raise awareness and build internal knowledge. -Guides hiring managers and other leadership through the selection process. -Assists with the interview process by completing initial screening interviews as necessary; participates on interview panels with hiring managers and other stakeholders when needed. -Collaborates with the hiring manager and other human resources staff during the offer phase, identifying and recommending equitable compensation and incentive components, start dates, and other relevant details. -Partners closely with the leadership team and hiring managers on job descriptions, requisitions, interview guides, and hiring and selection materials. Is a trusted business advisor. -Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as Hoffman’s company policies and core values. -Works collaboratively and tirelessly with HR team members to build an industry leading Recruiting function. -Attends and participates in job fairs, industry and community recruiting events, high school and college recruiting programs and conferences, and other recruiting and networking opportunities to promote employment with Hoffman. Continuously researches new opportunities for outreach in partnership with Workforce Planning. -Conducts hiring manager training as it relates to interviewing, selection, and candidate outreach. -Reviews applications and identifies qualified candidates for further evaluation and interviewing with the hiring team. -Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process to meet current and future talent needs. -Conducts intake meetings with hiring managers and customizes an efficient and effective recruiting strategy that includes sourcing, attracting, pipelining and securing talent based on the role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. -Hands/Arms: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Frequently operates machinery and will use hands/fingers and legs to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect and position materials

Equivalent work experience may be substituted -Ability to work well and maintain a collaborative attitude through high-pressure situations. -Ability to attract and quickly engage talent, building and maintaining their interest in open and future opportunities with Hoffman. -Excellent written and oral communication skills. -Ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships and quickly build trust; win/win attitude. -Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate across the organization and at all levels of leadership. -Construction industry recruiting experience strongly preferred. -Ability to work well in a large professional setting; patience, professionalism, and resilience are essential. -Prior experience working within an applicant tracking system and/or enterprise HCM recruiting module. -Experience working with pay equity laws and requirements -Solid understanding of EEO, ADA, and other employment regulations and laws. -Uses professional courage and negotiation skills to give feedback and respectfully challenge thinking of various stakeholders to drive better outcomes and best practice alignment. -Must be able to climb stairs: Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces. -Speech: Ability to communicate laws, ordinances, plans, regulations, protocols, directives, and standard operating procedures related to project scope in English. -Communicates Effectively -Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and file storage applications). -Excellent time-management and prioritization skills; ability to maintain focus through competing and changing requests for information and assistance. -Must use independent judgment, and organizational and problem-solving skills to determine best method to accomplish desired results. -Minimum five years of in-house, full cycle recruiting. A combination of in-house and agency recruiting experience may be considered, with a strong preference for in-house recruiting experience. -Sight: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus in an outdoor environment. Must be able to safely operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; reading printed and digital documents -Lift/Carry: Must have the ability to lift or manipulate 50 pounds to a height of 3 feet, and carry or push it 50-100 feet. -Hearing: Must be able to work in proximity to loud equipment more than 75% of the time. Must be able to wear hearing protection as necessary. Often required to communicate with customers and coworkers in an office setting and on the job site. -Interpersonal Savvy -Ability to manage and move seamlessly between many different requisitions at once, ensuring dedicated and effective sourcing efforts and outcomes. -Experience working with Korn Ferry Leadership Architect framework preferred. -Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: Must be able to regularly position self in a kneeling, crouching or crawling position for the purpose of examining project work. -Experience managing applicants in an Applicant Tracking System required. -Experience with both corporate and technical recruiting strongly preferred. -The ability to quickly discern alignment of candidates to job requirements, expectations and organizational and team culture.
