Tasks

-Train and mentor junior network engineers and contribute to team development -Maintain detailed network diagrams, configuration records, and performance reports -Architect and deploy LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud-based network solutions to support business needs -Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls to safeguard network assets -Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement enhancements to improve speed and reliability -Lead network-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and integrations with other IT systems -Work closely with system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and vendors to ensure seamless operations -Resolve escalated network issues and provide Tier 3 support for complex problems

What You Bring

-Experience with network security tools and protocols, including VPNs, firewalls, and NAC systems -CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certifications preferred -Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity planning experience -8+ years of network engineering experience -Deep knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), network hardware (Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper), and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
