Tasks

-Attends kick-off meetings to explain design options and gather information related to schedule and budget -Guides/assists other modelers regarding issues such as codes, design criteria, and software -Coordinates and guides preparation of construction documents with drafters, modelers, designers, clients, and internal quality control staff -Actively participates in industry, client, and community relations to enhance company image -Monitors the performance of personnel on a continuous basis and reviews performance with individuals per company guidelines -Collaborates with project manager to ensure appropriate staffing -Plans and leads internal and external project meetings -Markets Walter P Moore services to current and potential clients at professional meetings and other events -Promotes our Extraordinary Client Experience (ECX), by building effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations -Oversees designs, reviews project specifications, and interprets applicable codes and industry standards -Build concept models and connections to ensure alignment with design team. -Collaborates with architects, contractors, and other engineering consultants to develop engineering solutions -Manages workload distribution and project resources -Resolves project issues (e.g., technical, budget, schedule, billing, etc.) -Communicates, coordinates, and interacts with clients, consultants, and team members regarding project information -Conducts regular quality-control checks of own or others’ work as assigned
