Overview

Operate transport equipment and handle hazardous waste safely while representing GFL and providing customer service.

Tasks

-Safely operate all required transport equipment -Ensure all assigned equipment is properly loaded and maintained -Professionally represent GFL on all client sites and look for ways to expand services -Identify and classify all types of hazardous waste -Participate in safety meetings, last minute risk assessments and job hazard assessments

What You Bring

-Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License with a clean drivers abstract. Willingness to obtain a Class 1 license if required -Willingness to travel with frequent overnight trips -Customer service experience -Experience working in a safety sensitive environment -TDG knowledge and experience is an asset -Able to work independently -Communicate effectively with a team of qualified professionals -Ability to work in all weather conditions
