Tasks

-Perform mathematical calculations and field measurements to verify completed work and support payment processes. -Conduct on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches as required. -Assist with design-related tasks, technical analyses, and field duties for transportation infrastructure projects. -Coordinate material testing and inspection activities with contractors and client partners to ensure adherence to schedules and contractual obligations. -Support the development of construction plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, bid documents, and quantity takeoffs. -Inspect, observe, and document construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and contract documents. -Maintain daily inspection reports detailing contractor labor, equipment usage, and material quantities received and verified. -Participate in the review and assessment of change order logs, requests for information (RFIs), and cost proposals. -Aid in organizing tasks and responsibilities for field inspection personnel.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD software. -May require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs. -Physical demands may include frequent talking, hearing, standing, moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, balancing, coordination, and occasional sitting or operating a company vehicle. -High School Diploma or equivalent. -Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. -0-5 years of construction inspection experience (ODOT preferred). -Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. -HS Diploma or equivalent. -Ability to obtain required certifications and pass appropriate qualification tests within specified time frames.
