  • Liaise with service administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure our service commitments are met.
  • Work to a planned service and maintenance schedule. Issue remedial repairs and minor additions to existing installations in line with service administration guidance.
  • Effectively communicate with customers to ensure a good understanding of system and site status.
  • To always provide outstanding customer service.

  • Understand the basic building services to test cause and effect of fire alarm interfaces.
  • Experience in servicing and maintaining fire systems to relevant British Standards.
  • Ability to identify all types of cable associated with fire detection and security systems, and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the causes and cures of fire problems, including an ability to recommend changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms as well as recommending changes to the systems.
  • Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).
  • A logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification.
  • Industry leading training, on systems such as Gent, Notifier, Protec, and Baldwin Boxall.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
