Tasks

As a CAD Technician, you will play a key role in producing accurate technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD, ensuring our projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and site teams to develop detailed construction drawings and ensure design intent is accurately reflected on-site. -Assist in the coordination of drawings between different disciplines (e.g. structural, mechanical). -Maintain and update drawing registers and documentation. -Ensure all drawings are produced in line with company standards and client requirements. -Produce and amend 2D drawings using AutoCAD to support project planning and construction. -Work closely with the design and project management teams to resolve design issues. -Interpret architectural and engineering sketches and convert them into technical drawings.

What You Bring

-Previous experience in a construction or architectural environment. -Knowledge of building regulations and construction processes is a plus. -Experience with other CAD software (e.g. Revit, SketchUp) is an advantage but not essential. -Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. -Proficient in AutoCAD with a strong understanding of technical drawing standards. -Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
