-Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems -Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components -Perform circuit breaker corrective maintenance -Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures -Read technical diagrams and blueprints -Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices -Follow National Electrical Code, state, and local building regulations -Perform general electrical maintenance -Operates a variety of hand tools

What You Bring

Oldcastle is seeking an Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. To perform this role, you will need an electrician degree from a technical college and experience working on electrical systems. This position will work closely with all levels of management and employees to ensure safety and promote our safety culture. -Strong safety background and attendance record -Ability to lift up to 40lbs -Ability to read a tape measure -Basic math skills and ability to use measuring equipment -This position may require various physical activities, including but not limited to walking, standing, bending, stretching, and using hands to grasp, push, and lift items -Maintain good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment -Experience working as an electrician -Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions and schematics -Capability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours -Ability to demonstrate Lock Out/Tag Out procedures -Electrician degree from a technical college -Works well in a team environment -High school Diploma or GED preferred -Completion of electrician apprenticeship
