Overview

Procurement and supplier management for construction projects using SAP

Tasks

-Procure for key projects both domestic & international, through sourcing, negotiation, pricing, technical compliance, and supplier selection, leveraging volume discounts and long-term partnerships while managing risks associated with supply continuity. -Lead continuous improvement of SAP ERP based procurement. -Monitor supplier performance for projects in conjunction with the head of procurement. -Ensure compliance on projects with our quality procedures. -Provide accurate and concise information to the Head of Electrical Procurement to inform strategic decision making. -Maintain strong relationships with suppliers. -Preparation of project procurement reports. -Attend procurement meetings with project teams on key projects: Adhere to set project specific procurement strategy, ensure quality, cost and delivery targets are met and monitor supplier performance.

What You Bring

-A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a construction purchasing role. -Knowledge of / experience in the construction industry required. -Excellent IT skills essential - knowledge of SAP would be advantageous. -Relevant 3rd level qualification - IIPMM or equivalent preferred. -Engineering experienced candidate advantageous -Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential
