Tasks

-Interfacing with various teams regarding product failures and failure analysis results -Performing in-depth troubleshooting down to component level on electronics products -Interpreting schematics, test reports, data sheets, product history, ECN’s and customer case notes -Preparing detailed technical analysis reports that document the failure mode, diagnosis process, and root cause of an issue -Configuring bench test set-ups to duplicate fail modes ranging from audio, video, Ethernet/IP communications, power, etc.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 5 years of experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies down to the component level -Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. -Ability to solder / perform rework down to the SMT level -Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent -Understanding of analog and digital circuits, including microprocessors and gate arrays -Experience with test equipment including DVMs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, programmable power supplies, electronic loads, thermal chambers, etc. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word). -Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
