Overview

Perform residential maintenance and repairs across multiple properties.

Tasks

-Always utilize required safety equipment. -Maintain the attractive internal and external appearance of all buildings and grounds, including debris and weed removal, and reporting maintenance needs. -Provide ongoing input on property improvements for budget consideration. -Responsible for always acting in a safe manner and ensuring that other employees do not put themselves or others at risk; working safely is a condition of employment. -Participate in site meetings as needed. -May be required to work extended hours and weekends. -Travel to multiple sites and/or locations as required. -Participate in ongoing training to maintain required knowledge and skills. -Complete assigned service requests related to repairs and upkeep of properties in areas such as heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and other general repairs, recommending replacement or repair as necessary. -Ensure quality and timely completion of construction and repair projects. -Ensure all work is completed professionally and cleanly.

What You Bring

-Must be able to lift 20 to 50 pounds on a regular basis; on occasion will lift to 100 pounds. -Must have own hand tools, a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to work outside and will be exposed to cold, rain, wind, and other weather conditions customary to their location. -Experience preferred in the following areas: HVAC, EPA Universal, Boilers License and/or Pool Certification. -Scheduled to work on-call evenings and weekends on a rotational basis. -Ability to work independently, organize work, establish priorities, follow defined procedures, and complete tasks. -Must be able to walk, bend, stretch, stoop, lift and reach on a frequent basis. -Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to a diverse group of people. -High School or equivalent education with one to two years’ related experience and/or training preferred, or a combination of relevant work experience and education is required.
