Tasks
Reporting to the Board of the Company the successful candidate will manage the organisation’s business operations in Belfast and have an active involvement in the overall management of the company and attend all weekly/monthly management and strategy meetings to ensure that the Company achieves its overall policies. -Contribute to overall work generation programme of the office through active involvement in preparation of private and public submissions, feasibility studies, appraisals and client presentations. -Develop and manage the overall project management skills of the team to ensure consistency and high quality. -Represent the company at social and business events to foster links and contacts in the business community generally, and across the construction industry. -Advise on, provide assurance around and escalate all relevant matters relating to the Group’s Business Development, Planning and Performance to the Chair and the Board, ensuring the provision of timely, concise, and accurate reports. -Innovation: Drive forward-thinking architectural strategies that anticipate tomorrow’s opportunities. -Ensuring the organisation remains progressive, relevant and fosters innovation. -Contribute to the effective management of resources within the team based on financial information to be provided by the Financial Controller as well as overall resources of the office. -Build and cultivate an effective, highly motivated team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching and being responsible for developing firm-wide design standards. -Collaboration: Build trusted partnerships across teams, enabling success through shared vision and cooperation. -Identifying more effective and efficient service models, anchored to best practice.

We are now seeking an an experienced Director to manage and develop our growing business operations in Belfast. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have an entrepreneurial mindset. -Relevant experience of the development, delivery, and management of architectural projects. -10+ years’ experience working at senior management level within a large corporate architectural firm. -A recognised third level professional qualification in Architecture. -Significant leadership experience in driving business development and growth. -Proven ability to think objectively methodically and systematically, plan, communicate and act at a programme / multi-project level and to help commercial drive change in an organisation. -Active participation in policy formulation.
