Tasks

-Ensure the team's adherence to project timelines and quality standards. -Assist in leading cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and a positive working environment. -Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. -Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle. -With assistance, develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets. -Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management processes and methodologies. -Provide strategic leadership to the project team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. -Coordinate and oversee all project activities to ensure they align with organizational goals. -Collaborate with senior management to align projects with organizational goals. -Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and expectations. -Optimize resource allocation to ensure project success while maintaining cost-effectiveness. -Communicate project updates, milestones, and changes to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. -Delegate tasks effectively as needed, providing guidance and support to team members. -Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and obstacles. -Assist in managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.

What You Bring

-Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. -Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including internal resources and clients. -Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project. -Ability to read and interpret communication styles of team members and clients who come from both technical and non-technical disciplines. -The ability to provide superior service. -1-5 years of experience in the utility, construction, or manufacturing -Self-Starter and the ability to keep moving forward with minimal direction. -Experience with natural gas is a plus -Bachelor of Science in Engineering or another technical field. -Excellent organizational skills and time management skills are necessary. -Basic knowledge of construction, industry codes and standards -This position requires regular contact with employees on the fabrication floor and regular contact with client employees. -Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. -Requires ongoing coordination, communication and/or team problem solving between departments or functional areas and clients for work production or service quality. -Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them. -Ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as the situation demands. -Prior exposure to project management is a must
