Tasks

-Lead coordination with clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors -Ensure compliance with FAA Advisory Circulars, TxDOT Aviation guidelines, and local regulations -Oversee and review construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports -Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support -Lead design and delivery of civil engineering projects at airports including runways, taxiways, aprons, grading, drainage, and access roadways -Serve as Engineer of Record on aviation infrastructure projects -Support business development efforts such as proposals and interviews -Coordinate project scope, schedule, budget, and resources with internal and external stakeholders -Mentor and support junior engineers, EITs, and CAD designers

What You Bring

-Experience with software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D -Knowledge of FAA and TxDOT Aviation standards and processes -Knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations -Possess strategic and effective delegation skills -Minimum 7 years of civil engineering experience -Professional engineer license (PE) -Ability to lead project design start to finish, considering time, cost and resources -Familiarity with FAA AIP funding -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
